I have a client who wants his eBay feedback totals shown
on a page of his own website. Obviously, the entire eBay
page can be linked but is there a convenient way to
display just the summary info he wants to show? In other
words, a partial page view.
If eBay has a Web service or some other programmatic
interface, you can call that service or interface to get
the data and then display it however you want.
Otherwise, you would have to programmatically retrieve the
HTML and parse it yourself. Of course, this is a nuisance
and it tends to break whenever the remote site changes the
layout of their Web page.
