No cd's or dvd's will play.Every time I put one in a window comes up
"InCDsrv.exe has encountered a probleb and needs to close."After that
everything is slow to respond and most things like itunes won't respond. After
that window comes up I can't shut my pc down.I have to shut off the power to
it.Has anyone delt with this sort of problem before?I sure could use some
help.I have run spyware, virus removel, and registary mech. Nothing works.

Please post copies of all Error and Warning Reports appearing in
the System and Application logs in Event Viewer for the last boot. No
Information Reports or Duplicates please. Indicate which also appear in
a previous boot.

You can access Event Viewer by selecting Start, Control Panel,
Administrative Tools, and Event Viewer. When researching the meaning
of the error, information regarding Event ID, Source and Description
are important.

HOW TO: View and Manage Event Logs in Event Viewer in Windows XP
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/308427/en-us

Part of the Description of the error will include a link, which you
should double click for further information. You can copy using copy
and paste. Often the link will, however, say there is no further
information.
http://go.microsoft.com/fw.link/events.asp
(Please note the hyperlink above is for illustration purposes only)

A tip for posting copies of Error Reports! Run Event Viewer and double
click on the error you want to copy. In the window, which appears is a
button resembling two pages. Click the button and close Event
Viewer. Now start your message (email) and do a paste into the body of
the message. Make sure this is the first paste after exiting from
Event Viewer.

inCD is the packet-writing part of Ahead Nero CD/DVD burning software. It
runs as a low level system service, and it wouldn't suprise me that if it is
failing, that the system destabilizes - the instability could be causing the
inCD failure.

This isn't likely to be related to or affected by spyware or virus removal
software. Registry tools may not help either.

You could ask Nero support, who will likely want to see full error messages
and will definitely want to know what version of Nero you have installed.

In the meantime, you could locate your original Nero installation media,
then uninstall Nero and InCD, restart, and reinstall Nero and InCD. If
you've got a retail version, rather than Nero Lite which is bundled with
many CD/DVD drives, updates may be available.

Un-install the InCD module. It should be a separate software package
install, beside the standard Nero modules.
