I just installed Outlook 2003 and I love the preview pane
and how it hides all pictures unless the site is from a
trusted domain.

I just got an adult email tonight that did not block the
pitures at all. Is this a bug in Outlook 2003? I'm sure
some other people may have gotten this spam/adult email.

Since this image does not come from an http source maybe
that is why outlook did not try to block it. Anyone
know how I can block such embedded images from showing in
the preview pane?

Thanks,

Shawn

That's exactly right. Outlook blocks only content loaded from external sources. It does not block pictures that are actually attached to mail messages. The only way to block those is to view all mail in plain text format.
