inbound email stopped - can send but not receive

Yesterday my email account stopped receiving inbound emails although I can
send from Outlook express. I have company email address set as default
address and up until yesterday everything working fine for last 6+ months.
What can I check to see why this suddenly stopped receiving inbound.
I can send to my hotmail address and it receives ok but my company address
will not receive only send ?

I didn't change any settings - this started on it's own ...??? HELP PLEASE

What version of Outlook and what type of account?
 
I'm using Outlook Express 6

not sure what you mean by what type of account.

Anyway - we lost our T-1 connection locally on Tues. PM and upon getting it
reset and operating again yesterday by phone co. my email started working
again and it pulled in all the emails from the time it had stopped receiving
on Monday thru current. Have no idea what caused or what fixed problem but
seems to be working ok now.

Appreciate your willingness to assist.

For future reference, you're in the wrong newsgroup. Outlook Express is not
Outlook. See here:
