Hello all,

Ever since I purchased my new computer, I have been
unable to click on links within an e-mail or instant
message, for example. I click the link and it goes
nowhere. Does anyone know of a setting that can fix this
problem? I've gone through everything that I know and
nothing has helped.

I appreciate any feedback!

Best regards.

Go to Start > Run and type: REGSVR32 URLMON.DLL , and hit enter.
Click OK and reboot your computer.
Next, go to: IE/Tools/Internet Options/Programs/Reset Web Settings.

I use both Outlook (regular) for my Road Runner e-mail,
and Outlook Express for my MSN mail.

However, it's not only e-mail. I can't access links from
instant messages either. Neither MSN, Yahoo, or Trillian.

Hi Carol,

1. Click [Start] [Run] type:
(Press Enter after each command)
Regsvr32 /i URLMON.DLL
Regsvr32 /i shdocvw.dll
Regsvr32 oleaut32.dll
Regsvr32 actxprxy.dll

2. Restart Windows
3. Open IE [Tools] [Internet Options] [Programs] [Reset Web Settings]

If this does not help, run this fix:

Thanks to those who have replied. My links now work,
however, I'm not sure if it's related but now my Outlook
can't access my Roadrunner e-mail. Any suggestions?

Thanks again!
