HELP!!!!!

I format my HD and want to start a clean installation of Win2K. I even
formatted the HD.

I start winnt32.exe. There is no problem when the windows files are being
copied. After the reboot the messages appear that Windows 2000 is starting
up. After o long while the Blue screen appears with a long message.
Inaccessible_BOOT _DEVICE.

Can someone help me please!!!!

Find what drivers are required for your drive controller and install them
during initial install by pressing F6.

If you have standard IDE controllers and you get this error, then
change your hard disk !

You may be able to fix this with a fast repair. Which is one of your
options when you set up win2k.

I faced this problem before.
I tried reinstalling, repairing but no use after successfull instalation
or repiaring it shows Blue screen again.

So i changed the memory and find things working smooth.
Memory wasnt funtioning properly

The first two suggestions are both possibilities, but replace the ribbon
cable before you replace the drive. Also set the jumpers explicitely for
master or slave on all devices sharing the cable. Better yet, move other
devices to another cable (another port) and put the hard drive alone on a
new cable, with the jumper set as master. Make sure the BIOS recognizes the
drives.
