I noticed a folder called "System Volume Information" on my Windows XP
machine. I've tried deleting the folder and I keep getting and "access
denied " message. Can anyone out there tell me what's the purpose of this
folder and how do I go about deleting it?

Hi

That folder holds all the files for System Restore, please don't try and delete it. 'Access Denied' for that folder is there for a very good reason.

Ruler,

It's a part of XP's System Restore. Don't delete it.

.
It figures that someone who calls themselves "Justice
Allah" would try to delete a file without first knowing
what it is or what it does.

As it says on my bumper
NUKEUM "let allah sort them out"
