Inaccessible boot device issue

I am trying to put the hard drive from an old P3 with win2000 on it
into a newer P4 computer. Basically I'm just swapping in the hard
drive. Unfortunately, the computer wont boot up - I get the
inaccessible boot device blue screen.

I can boot into win2000 on the P3, so is there anything I can change
while I'm there to help it boot up on the P4?

Thanks for the pointers - as it turned out, the MS information was so
useful. However I discovered a solution that worked: Control Panel ->
System -> Device Manager -> IDE controllers then under properties
change the specific name brand drivers to "Standard Dual Channel PCI
IDE Controller".

Voila. The system booted into windows and auto-updated the remainder
of the drivers (after some goofing around with Ethernet cards).

Good to hear. You're welcome.
