Inability to post to this newsgroup

Can anyone tell me why I am sometimes unable to post messages to this
newsgroup even though I have highlighted the
'microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6.browser' group and then clicked
on New post and finally Send?

I think Microsoft are having problems with the bulltetin
boards, posts didn't appear over the weekend and then
today there was a flood of posts that had been queued up
some where.
 
And what, pray tell, happens when you click on Send?
