In Word, {FORMCHECKBOX} appears in preview, not the check box

When attempting to create a check box in Word, using the forms toolbar and
clicking the Check Box Form Field icon, a check box appears on the document.
However, when I switch to Print Preview, what appears is {FORMCHECKBOX}
instead of the checkbox itself. Also, when I print the document, what's
printed in place of the Check Box is: {FORMCHECKBOX} Please help.

You have posted this message to the wrong news group.
The access in this newsgroup's title refers to Microsoft Access, a
database product.
I would suggest you post to the appropriate Word newsgroup.
 
Wrong newsgroup but try use the Menu Tools / Options ... and check the
following:

* "Print" tab, "Include with document", "Field Codes" option.
* "View" tab, "Show" pane, "Field Codes" option.
