None of my recipient can see the clip art, animations that I put into the
body of my email messages. They receive them as attachments. How can I fix
this?

Sorry, forgot to inlcude info: I am using Outlook 2003 with Word as the
email editor. All my recipients use the latest version of Outlook Express.

You must send your messages in HTML format and you must embed the pictures
in the message.

Hi Brian,

I am using HTML format. I embed the clip art/animation into the body of my
message using "Insert Picture". But my recipients (using Outlook Express)
always get them as attachments. This also happens with the stationery: my
recipients get it as an attachment.

Is there something about Microsoft Outlook sending to Outlook Express that
makes this happen?

Thanks, Cheryl

Since I would never, ever subject my recipients to HTML junk, I have no more
ideas, never having used it.

That begs the question though: so what if they receive them as attachments?
The main idea is that they receive them, right?

You're so mean!!! : ) The email messages are to family and friends and we
all like to 'dress up' our messages. I get to see my recipient's cool stuff
and I'd like my recipients to see my creativity -- and that creativity
doesn't transfer when it gets sent as attachments. Your post made me laugh,
Brian! Thanks for trying.

Cheryl
