In page X of X page 2 titled 1 how do i get right total pages?

I have 26 pages total. I need to start numbering page 2 as 1. This of
course works fine but in page X of X the last page says page 25 of 26.

How can i fix this?
 
Toggle the field code for field which reads 26, then change to
{ = { NUMPAGES } -1 } (insert the { using Ctrl, F9)
