In Outlook 2003, how do you delegate a meeting to someone else?

I received an invitation to a meeting and accepted same. I can not attend
this meeting now and would like to send a delegate in my place. Is there a
way to assign this meeting to a designated delegate?

Thanks for your help.
 
You can open the meeting invite and foward the invite to that person. When
that person accepts the organizers will see the acceptance.
