In Outlook 2002, when selecting contacts with ctrl, somehow I end.

Selecting contacts while holding down ctrl , at some point the contacts
double up and I cannot undo in Edit.

I'm still not following this.
In what view are you working?
If I understand your description, you simply highlight multiple
non-contiguous Contacts, do nothing else whatsoever, and they duplicate all
by themselves? Then these duplicates remain in your Contacts Folder forever?
That would indeed be a first. I've never seen it and can't imagine what
would cause it.

Thanks, I will.
When I am in Oulook Contacts, I select multiple contacts by holding down
ctrl and pointing and clicking, and without doing anything else (as far as
I
can tell) I will have copies of all those contacts in my contact folder,
in
other words doubles. Edit will not let me undo this. Is there something I
do
unwittingly? How do I delete all those without manually selecting and
deleting every one?

Could you provide enough detail so we can tell what you mean?
