In need of advice

Hi everyone. I am in need of advice, and any advice or opinions will
be greatly appreciated.

I am interested in pursuing a career in computer networking, and am not
sure where to start. I am a High School graduate and college is not an
option at the moment. Is it a good idea to pursue a certification in
Microsoft (MCSE 2003)? Will the certification help me get my foot in
the door? Or, will CompTIA A+ certification be a better choice to
enter the industry? Any other certifications I should consider?

are there any networking professionals out there who took the
certification route? Please help me out. How did you do it (in terms
of what certifications in what order)? Where did it take you? Any
advice or words of wisdom?...

MCSE 2003 and CompTIA A+ are good options. Altertatively, you can think about MS Most Valuable Professional (MVP) too. Search mvp on mircpspft web site. Good luck!
