Basically, the intro's and in game movies are running choppily for reasons I can't figure out. basically, the video of the movies runs at half speed, and the sound has about a seconds pause every second. However, when I first got the pc, the movies & intro's & what-have-you ran fine. What could have caused this? I have already scanned for spyware, viruses, and defragged my hard disk.

What games is it specifically, a lot of games use different formats for
video, so it'll be easier to narrow down if we know which games.

Fallout Tactics, Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction. Which is a shame, 'cause the movies in FO:T rock

BTW: my system is a Intel Celeron 1Ghz with 128 MB of SD Ram. The motherboard has a built in 8MB Trident vid card. My OS is WinXP home. I haven't got any SPs yet, I don't have high speed internet. In the taskbar sits AVG Anti-virus, and Zonealarm
