In Front Page 2003, how do I add a footnote

  • Thread starter Thread starter Guest
  • Start date Start date
Place your footnote at the end of the page, and make a bookmark where it
starts.
At the reference point (where the number is) add a link to the bookmark.
Example (in code view):

<p>loads of text with a reference to a footnote <span
style="font-size:smaller;"><a href=#note1>1</a></span></p>

Rest of page

<p style="font-size:xx-small"><a name="note1"><b>1</b></a> footnote text
goes here</p>

To just expand a bit - go to the location you wish to go to, Press CNTL-G or
Insert - Bookmark. Name it something so you will remember.

Now, on that webpage when you hit CNTL-K (Insert Hyperlink) choose Place in
Document and that bookmark should come up

Thank you---my older version of FP had a footnote toolbar and that made it
very fast and easy
