In Excel 2002, The Options Menu will not display

In Excel 2002, Worksheet Menu Bar, i. e.
File Edit View Insert Format TOOLS Data Window Help

On the Tools drop down Commad the "Options" menu will not display. When I
poke it, it just blinks. There is no Error message. Everything else works. I
have restarted the PC and searched for a download of the software. My
version came with the PC.

Try this:

Right-Click anywhere on the Menu Bar
Select "Customize..."
Select the "Toolbars" Tab
Scroll down and highlight the "Worksheet Menu Bar" (don't uncheck it)
Click on the "Reset..." button
Click OK
Click CLOSE

Now see if it works.
