In design mode the main form does not permit editing

Dear All,
I was unable to loacate an faq to see if this question has been answered
already.

I have created a new folder to contain Tasks. I have gone in to Design mode
using the Task item from the Standard forms library.

I want to add some user defined fields to the front "Task" tab but the only
pages that are appearing in design mode are page 2 on.

When I look at the on line tutorials at microsoft they show screen shots of
the front tab being in design mode.

I dont know waht to do from here.

Please help

OK finally found my answer on MSDN. I guess you cant edit the default page
only hide it .... just need to go figure out how to hide it now. :-)

On one of the menus, in design mode, there is a button to show or hide the
page.
