I am trying to enable my Business Contact Manager in Outlook and during the
wizard I receive the following error message when the program wants to
conduct a backup file. Error msg: cannot find "ir_GetSBAInfo".

Can anyone help me

Hi Rob

Can you tell me how you install BCM manager was it from the Small Business
Managment disk and make sure you confirm the version for BCM as well

Thank You Raul for getting back to me. It was a BCM disk that accompanied the
Small Business Disk. Version 2003 is marked on the Disk. What happened, I
somehow got a corrupted file that would not allow me to access Outlook at
all. I called the PC manufacturer who installed my software and was
instructed to uninstall BCM and Small Business programs and reinstall. I did
and found that my Microsoft Office programs reloaded fine, my Outlook
reloaded fine. but when I went into Office and enable BCM, which then told me
it was enabled, I went into Outlook and did not find my BCM files. I then
went into Data File Management to add BCM, which started the Wizard and
during the wizard is when I received mentioned message.

I hope you might be able to help.

I don't see ir_GetSAInfo in the v2 database. I think you may have a v2
database and have reverted the bits back to v1 with the reinstalls. Try
installing the BCM v2 update.

Hi Rob

I was finally able to get a repro on the above mentioned error and these are
the steps that helped me resolve the issue. But before i proceed i want you
to search for the file irisms32.dll and go to properties and check the
version,if it says 1.00 that means you are running version 1.Download and
install BCM V2 from the following location
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...42-6dc5-4922-9dfb-1c82237d6b62&DisplayLang=en
and check if it resolve the issue.
However if the file version says 2.00 go to add /remove program and hom
many version of Business Contact Manager are listed. In my case i had both V1
and V2.I
had to uninstall BCM V1 and did a reinstall of BCM V2 update and this helped
me resolve the issue :).

Hope this helps
