WHen in the inbox for mail, I have 3 (three) sets of folders; on left
side of page...1st: Folders on MSN:

Inbox, sent, trash, junk,; 2nd: MSN folders: In box, Junk,; 3rd:
Folders on your computer: Stored, Drafts, Outbox, Sent, Trash. My
friend has only two, the first and last. We both have xp, 9, Which is
correct??? Would this be a reason I STILL cannot send mail from my
inbox. Still have not resolved problem. BUt can send from hotmail on
the home page . Latest suggestion from MSN is to delete MSN and restore.

It's more likely that the pop server is down (At least that seems to be common these days.).
Inbox, Outbox, Sent, Draft, and possibly a trash or junk folder are reasonable.

You did not say how you setup your mail application, or which one you are using. . Perhaps you should revisit the MSN email help sites appropriate to your mail client..
Dialup vs broadbasd-- many of the broadband IPs block port 25 for all pop servers other than thier own.
