In Access 2000, run a macro that ages the data base?

I would like to make a macro that adds and subtracts cells when I manually
hit a macro button for my whole data base file. I want to do this monthly
and the database is changed and saved to the new math for every record. Any
idea where I can get started doing this? Jetdome

Jetdome,

I assume you are talking about a table in an Accesss database? It
sounds like this is a job for an Update Query.

I would like to have the database table updated monthly with internal
addition and subtraction between cells that I pick. And this is a shared
online database, if that changes anything. Jetdome

Jetdome,

Access databases and tables do not have "cells". This is something you
get in spreadsheets and stuff like that. The database being shared
should not make any difference, I imagine. I am not sure of the
implications of "online". Maybe if you could provide some examples, it
might give a clue as to what you are trying to accomplish.
