Improve color resolution in Windows 2000 TS

Hi everybody....

there is any way to improve Windows 2000 Terminal Server 256 color
limitation in the TS client connection?? to 16 bit for example...

or if there is any way to upgrade Windows 2000 RDP Protocol to the 5.1
version...??
