In last 2 weeks or so I walk up to my computer and I have a screen showing
"Award Bios - Setup Utility". It says "During the last boot-up, your system
hung for an improper CPU Speed Setting. Your system is now in working in Safe
Mode. To optimize performance and relaiability, be sure the CPU speed
conforms to the specifications of your CPU. " then gives me options of
2300MHz, 1917, 1533, 1150, manual to choose from.
This genrally occurs overnight and is on the screen in the morning. (I keep
computer on 24/7 but not signed in or connected to broadband).
What is casuing this? I have done no changes to the system in recent months.
I do not know WHAT my CPU speed is or should be. How do I find that info? So
I just have been using 1917 as one of the choices but it continues to happen
to go into this fault condition at least every couple dasy or even sometimes
2x a day.
