Imports are Corrupted

I imported a song and it's twice as long and the last half is just blank. I'm not stupid, I deleted and started my video but if I just pick a random place the audio isn't right. Like if I start at 40 sec. the audio would play 1 minute. Odd...I used a different computer and it worked fine. Then, some videos. I import them and they are frozen after the first clip with no audio at all. I haven't tried on a different computer with these. But I have reinstalled MM2 and I'm still having the same prob. It's not with all audios and videos, just a select few.
 
MM2 doesn't like mp3's so don't use them. Also check out www.papajohn.org
for conflicting codecs, at problem solving > accleration and codecs
