I am rather new to website design and need some help - Frontpage 2003

Our organization has a website and the webmaster passed away and the entire
programming of the website was lost. I used Frontpage to import the website
and now have a copy. My problem is all of the menu bars were broken and the
themes for the different sections of the website - although were pulled down
- when I post them back - they are missing.

2 things - the menu/link bars do not show the pictures when posted - even
when I added them back into navigation view. They look fine there, but when
posted disappear.

How can I reconnect the Themes so that they show up after posting them?

Thanks

You need to see instructions here:

Importing won't work.

File->Import in FrontPage should never be used for getting complete web
sites, only for individual files. Importing will only bring down what the
browser sees - it will leave behind any images, files, databases that are
not referenced by the Home page; this includes the files used for shared
borders, design time includes, server side includes, rollover images etc.

It sounds like you will have to rebuild the themes and navigation from
scratch - reinsert the themes on the pages, and rebuild the navigation view
(if FrontPage navigation components were used).

Also, when "posting" the site has to be Published using File->Publish. Using
a separate FTP application or Windows explorer to upload the site may miss
the essential hidden files and folders, and if the server is running
FrontPage extensions will corrupt the extensions., which will now need to be
repaired or re-installed (if you used FTP or Explorer).
