Before returning a laptop that had VISTA I loaded all of my files that I
had received by email and placed into locals folders ...(receipts, flight
documentation, etc.) onto a disc hoping for some setup wizard to show up when
I received my new laptop. When I view the disc the folder's contents are in
..eml format but I can not find a way to easily send them straight to the
local folders section ( the left hand column) of windows mail.
The new computer is also VISTA. Thanks

If you arrange the Windows Explorer window so that you can see the messages
and the WinMail window so that you can see the folder list, you can drag the
EML files to a WinMail folder. If the WinMail window gets covered up, drag
them to the WinMail icon on the task bar and keep the mouse button down
until the WinMail window appears.
