importing video

I'm trying to import a movie file into Movie Maker 2 however it only wants to
import 5 minutes of the movie. The total clip is about 13 minutes. What can I
do? Thanks

What happens after 5 minutes?
Is it saying it imported but then you only have 5 minutes?
Does the clip work perfectly in your Media Player?
What type of clip (extension) is it?

It only imports 5 minutes of the 13 minute clip. It plays the five minutes
fine - no problems. The clip is a .mgp file

MPG
There's the issue. MPG's do not work well with Movie Maker.
Convert it to AVI or WMV and all will be well again in your video editing
world.
