I have a problem that just started two days ago -- never had it before. When
I try to import files into collections, Windows can't configure OpenMG Secure
Module. It says: "The feature you are trying to use is on a CD-Rom or other
removable disk that is not available. Insert the OpenMG Secure Module disk
and click ok." I don't have this disk and never have, since MovieMaker came
with Windows. How do I get a disk or is it available as a download? Or do I
have another problem? Thanks so much!

Try doing a System Restore to a time before this issue began.

Thanks John for responding. I did try two System Restores, thinking the same
thing, and neither worked. I'm open to any other suggestions.

Just to verify....did the restore work and
not solve the issue...or did the restore fail
to to work?

If the restore failed to work...try doing it in

For info.... David resolved it with the help of Microsoft.

It appears that OpenMG Secure Module's parent is Sonic Stage, which found
its way into all media applications on David's computer.... Microsoft tech
support removed it, and Movie Maker than worked great.
