Importing Video from Sony DVD Video Camera

I have a Sony 201 DVD Camcorder and am unable to import MPG video using the
USB cable into Moviemaker. Surely there is a way, it a new camera, but has no
Firewire port. Suggestions?

Check the notes on the Importing Source Files > Video > Discs page of my
website. I just added a case study of how I got from a Sony DCR-DVD200 disc
to Movie Maker.

The firewire will no doubt be called i-link or maybe ieee1394.
