So tonight I downloaded a full tape of video with movie maker.
Moviemaker happily split the video into a few dozen clips.

Is there anyway to automatically save these clips as separate video files?

Thanks
Adam.

Nope
The only way you can do that is to one at a time drag them to the timeline
and save them as video files to your computer.

Your welcome
Bulk rendering is definitely a feature I would like to see in a future
version of Movie Maker as this topic does come up quite often.

I think we should be able to click the *Movie*
button and the program would create exactly
what we were thinking about in 30 seconds...
no...that's too long to wait...make it 10 seconds.

Well now doesn't that take the fun out of video editing? :)

Don't be a moron John, simply saving the clips as separate files isn't
too much to expect of movie maker. If you have nothing productive to
say on a thread... try saying nothing.

Yes of course, it is part of what keeps us busy in here :-)

Hi Wojo,

After posting several thousand messages in
this newsgroup I finally make a random comment
and now I'm called a moron. I guess no matter
what we do...it's never enough.

Cheers,

Frustrating huh?
Volunteer your time to help people.
You & I both have helped many people in this newsgroup (along with all the
others that help here, especially Papajohn of course) and still some people
don't appreciate it.
Fortunately most people do which is why, at least for me, we keep coming
back.

For the record I appreciate your posts. :)

Thanks for your support. And you are correct...
many people find solutions here and they do
appreciate it.

Maybe it was because you make so few flippant comments.... I can't remember
reading one before.... though I did take it as a joke.

It was intended in jest but apparently
the OP was not amused.
