Anyone know how I import an Adobe Acrobat document into Word, so I can work and print the finished article?

Easiest would be from Adobe Acrobat (not Adobe Reader), save as a Word
Doc file.

From Adobe Reader, save as Text.

There are conversion programs you can find via Google.

You can copy from the PDF when viewing from the Adobe reader via
clibboard and paste into Word

From Adobe Acrobat (not Reader) there are a long list of differnet
formats in File Save As (html, xml, rtf, word doc, ... etc.) that will
work also.

PDF is designed to be a publication format rather than one that allows
subsequent edits.

If you have a later version of Adobe Acrobat you can export the text. Or you
can use a utility like ScanSoft's PDFconverter:
http://www.scansoft.com/pdfconverter/ which claims to extract all the
formatting and graphics as well.
