Importing text files into Access 98.

I installed Access 98 onto a Windows Me Os. When I tried to import text files, I couldn't find the option for txt. I found a few others: for database, etc. I ran the setup program but have had no luck

If anybody can inform me on what I need to do, I would appreciate it

There was never an Access 98: it went from Access 97 to Access 2000. You'd
best check what version of Access you really have.

If you have Access 97, look for the file mstext35.dll on your hard drive (it
should be in the System folder) and use regsvr32.exe to reregister it.

If you have Access 2000, look for mstext40.dll instead.
