Access forms have Timer events. One way to trigger an action (procedure)
would be to use a form that you could guarantee would be open, even if
hidden, and add the procedure call to the timer event in that form.
Have you already worked out the steps to "manually" do the import? If not,
figure out how to do that first, build a procedure to do it, then add the
call in the form's timer event.
