Importing purchased audio files

I purchased songs from on-line and it when I try to import it says that they
are protected by digital signature and can't be imported to WMM...why would
that be, I'm trying to make a slide show with audio for myself and family.

burn them to a cd, using your audio program that you bought them with
(itunes, windows media player etc...) then re-rip them to your computer
using the same program, HOWEVER: make sure you have all protection turned
OFF in your media program. this will strip the copy protection and enable
you to use as you want.
