importing .pst files created in 2003 into 2002

Can I import a .pst file created as backup of 2003 Outlook
into 2002 Outlook? I have tried but get message that file
is incompatible. If it is not possible is there a
workaround. Due to a problem with one notebook we have had
to switch back to an older one which still has 2002
loaded - hence the problem. \Thank you

No, if you created a Outlook 2003 pst-file you can only open it in Outlook
2003. If you want to be backward compatible you must use an Outlook 97-2002
pst-file. For more info see;
