Brian Tillman said:First, copy the PST to your hard drive. Next, right-click it, choose
Properties, and remove the read-only attribute. Third, start Outlook and
click FIle>Open>Outlook Data File. Fourth, browse to the PST, select it,
and click OK. You now have access to all the data it contains. NEVER
import from a PST.

I updated to Vista from XP and backed up all my files. Inculuding outlook.
When I try to import the pst file i get that message.
