I have a .PST File on CD which contains all of my e-mails
from Microsoft Outlook at work.

I am trying to import these into Microsoft Outlook Express
at home.

When I click on File, Import, Messages, Microsoft Outlook,
I get the following error message:

Messages cannot be imported from the MAPI client. An error
has occurred.

I do not have Microsoft Outlook set-up on the home
computer. I'm just trying to get the messages off the CD.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you and regards, Natalie.

You cannot import a .pst file directly into Outlook Express. It must first
be opened in Outlook to allow for OE to be able to "translate" the file into
a usable OE file. If you do not have Outlook at home, then your .pst file
is unusable.
