Importing Problems

The other day, I downloaded a video to my computer from the internet. I was
trying to import it into the movie maker, but it wouldn't let me. This error
window kept popping up telling me that the file wasn't indexed and it can't
import it. I'm not sure what that means, but I want to know what I can do
about it. Any suggestions?

I have Windows XP, if you need to know.
