Importing problems

I am trying to import my Outlook Express address book into
my Outlook Contacts. I can get through all the steps and
watch them scroll onto the screen, but then I get a
message telling me it is unable to perform function and
shuts Outlook down. Now I am unable to find my address
book in Express. Any ideas?
 
I am using Outlook in Microsoft Office Professional 2000.
I tried going the route of importing and get through the
wizard but then it shuts down in the end. I also tried
exporting from Express into an Excel file and then
importing, but got the same result.

We still can't troubleshoot unless you post your precise steps and then what
happens. Is OE installed on the same partition as Outlook?
