I have a fixed width text file (.txt) that I am able to open with Excel, but
when I try a straight import into Access from the .txt file, I get the
following error:
One or more rows of data in your file contain too many characters to import.
The maximum characters per row is 65000.
Why am I able to import the same file into Excel and can I get Access to do
this without having to create the additional step of converting from .txt to
..xls?
Thanks in advance..
