I have created a presentation using PPT 2007 and need to combine it
with a few other shows created by other speakers with PPT 2003. Since
my file has used some of the newer graphic effect unique to 2007, it
loses some of them if I save the show as a 2003 .ppt file.
When I try to paste a 2003 file into my show with the "keep source
formatting" command, the fonts change and movies lose their links,
and is not usable.
This happens even when I save the 2003 file as a PPTX format first.
I hope that Microsoft has provided us a way to accurately play back a
2003 file within PowerPoint 2007, but I can't figure out how to easily
accomplish this. Can anyone PLEASE offer helpful hints or workarounds
for combining a 2003 & 2007 files without losing capabilites of 2007.
Thank you for any suggestions!
