Hi,
I am importing a lot of pictures into one project to create a Time-lapse
movie. When I get to about 120 pictures windows movie maker closes down as if
to say I have had enough!! I then have to re-open the program and start again.

My questions are: is there a maximum amount of pictures you can import?
Or maybe a maximum amount of MB you can import?
The 120 pics I have imported is only the first part of the movie so there
are lots more I want to do.

And finally, any suggestion on how I can achieve this? Can I make small
movies of 120 pics then ad those movies into a new project? (im only guessing)
Many thanks look forward to hearing from someone

Welcome to yet another Microsoft broken-ware product.

Yes you can do several smaller movies and then combine them. What a pain
though.

I'm not aware of a limit to the number
of pictures you can import but you may
be reaching the limitations of your system
resources.

And it's possible that you might have a file
compatibility issue:

Yes, you can create several smaller files,
save them as .avi or..wmv and reimport
them for saving the final movie.

Maybe the following article will offer some ideas:
