Movie Maker does not import the actual image file...
it only creates a link...so when you remove the CD...
communication is broken. The solution is to copy
the files to a folder on your hard drive and import
from there.

JOHN,
Thanks, I had same issue. Now I have new issue. When logging back into Movie
Maker many pictures are shown with an X. I have to browse to re-locate them.
Why has their path been lost. Plus I ned to know how to add my music to my
movie maker project. Please help. DLP

Your .mswmm project files do not include
the source files...if the original source files
are moved or deleted you will see the Red Xs.

Add music by importing .wma or .wav files...
then drag them to the Audio/Music track.

John, thanks. Does this exclude Itune music files? If so, where do I get music files that are .wma or .wav? DLP
