Hi,

I had Windows98 and Outlook 2002 on my (very) old PC and had many .pst
folders.

My new PC has Vista and Windows mail.

Anyone any idea how I can transfer my old e-mails?

I tried Import but it just appears to want Outlook installed.
I also tried to load Office 2000, everything worked/works OK except Outlook
which thinks it has WAB DLL missing

Help if you can

Jacky

This may be a long way, but it worked for me.
Copy .pst files on to a memory stick from your old computer;
Open 'Outlook' and import these files - you can use browse to find the mem
stick;
Close Outlook and open Win Mail, and import from 'Outlook'.

NEVER import a .PST file into Outlook! Importing a .PST file almost always
corrupts the Outlook profile in use, plus you lose the following
information:

1. Custom Forms
2. Custom Views
3. Connections between contacts and activities
4. Received dates on mail
5. Birthdays and anniversaries in calendar
6. Journal connections
7. Distribution Lists

Copy the old .PST to a folder (DO NOT OVERWRITE any existing .PST files) ,
open Outlook, and connect it to this .PST file.
