Help! Help! Can anyone advise me on how to import or embed
a Flash Animation (i.e., Mix-FX Flash) into a Powerpoint
presentation).

Thanks.

Dan

You have several options that range from hand coding the flash file (not
really that hard if you have the right directions) to several add-ins that
do all the work for you. The one problem is that flash movies do not
"rewind" - ie. if you go back to the slide, the flash movie does not start
at the beginning. To overcome this use the free "flashback" add-in (note:
this rewinds flash movies on machines it is installed on - it does not go
with the file).

I use, and recommend, Shyam's Toolbox which has a great (among a dozen +
tools) insert flash tool : http://www.mvps.org/skp/toolbox/

Here is a good resource for lots of info on flash in PPT :

Troy's given you extrememly thorough information about Flash and PPT. I
just wanted to say that the instructions at http://www.flashgeek.com for
how to get Flash into PPT are very straightforward and easy to follow.

Once you're in the control toolbox (as described at flashgeek), you will
see an "embed" option. Set it to true.
