Importing Old Mail into New Outlook Express

I was running Windows ME with Outlook Express and my
computer crashed. I have fixed the computer by installing
Windows 2000 and in adition put office 2000 on the
computer (I had previously had office 97). Anyway, the
new outlook express is fresh and I wanted to know how to
import the thousands of emails I had saved in my previous
outlook express I have been using. I know they are on my
system still, I just don't know how to consolidate them
into the new outlook express. I'm pretty sure the version
of outlook express I had been using was fairly recent....

any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
