the f:\Outlook Express\. When trying to import, Vista
claims that "no messages can be found..." bla bla ...
What to do?

I don't know why it's not importing. What
do I miss?!
Frank Saunders said:Make sure that the DBX files are not marked Read Only. If F: is a CD-ROM
you will have to copy them to a hard drive and then remove the Read Only
attribute.
Is Folders.dbx there with the other DBX files?
Mildred Savalier said:Try one folder at a time. That was the only way I could make it work.
No folder here called Imported mailMildred Savalier said:Look for a folder in Windows Mail called Imported mail.
I am attempting to import messages from OE6 as well.
When I browse to the folder from MS Mail 7 - Import, on the partition of
the Vista computer (has C & D partitions; Vista on C data on D), it shows an
empty folder but when I look at it or put my mouse on it, it shows all the
MB file sizes.
I can open the emails into MS Mail 7 and when I open the D drive and look
at the files they are eml files (I converted them from dbx. first) but no luck
with the import.
I tried doing it directly from the drive that had the folders which were in dbx on OE6, but same issues.
Is this function just not working yet or am I missing something simple, as well?
