Importing OE addressbook

We have a computer with Windows 98 on it. I need to Import those addresses to our new XP version
XP does NOT want to recognize it. Saved them as .wab and .csv and it just doesn't work
Went to a Compatibility tab and it wouldn't let me select anything to make it compatible
Help!
