Importing my web from host

Recently I successfully transferred (using ftp) my web
site pages and links to a new hosing company. All works
well as far as being able to view the web on my Microsoft
IE6 browser.

But now I want to use FrontPage 2002 to begin maintaining
the web, for example, by adding neww information on some
of the pages.

So I go to FrontPage 2002 and open it. I have from my new
host a user name and password as well as the address for
his server. I don't know how to use these in FrontPage to
import my web so I can edit it in FrontPage's editing
pane. Could anyone help me to know what steps I need to
take.

Many thanks,

Bob Maybury

my web is: www.iocd.org

helping scientists in developing countries. We are all
working pro bono, including me as its Executive Director
and "very amateurish"web master!!

The import function only imports what is seen by a browser, so shared
borders, include files, navigation structure, themes, asp pages, databases,
etc. are not imported. You would need to be able to publish between
computers.

| Dear Users,
| I am using FP 2000. I uploaded a few files to my website
| through Geocities easy Upload method. Now I want to import
| that folder to some other computer. That folder contains
| an index.htm file too along with other 30 files. Some time
| FP imports all files properly, but at other times it
| doesn't. I tried to import that folder through FP but it
| is importing only index.htm not others. What can be the
| reason? Can anybody help me?
